Wartenberg Sensibility Instrument, or Algesimeter, is a medical device with a small, serrated wheel on a handle, used in neurological exams to test nerve function (sensory perception) by rolling its sharp but not skin-penetrating pins across the skin to assess touch, pain, and temperature sensitivity, helping diagnose nerve damage.
